LIGHT-BASED FENCING COURSES
Kyber Combat
Fencing in a whole new Light
What is Light-Based Fencing?
“Light-based fencing” is a widely growing sport of combat utilizing what some would call a “laser-sword”. This weapon retains the range and basic principles of a sword mixed with the weight and flexibility of a stick. Due to the design of the weapon producing an “omni-directional” blade that has a light-based edge as opposed to sword’s edge, this makes even the lightest touch a “lethal” blow. In this sport, you will find techniques the likes of Traditional Fencing, Kendo, Cane Fighting, HEMA, Eskrima, as well as a slew of new disciplines developed around the artform now known as “Light-Based Fencing”.
